Warehouse Employee

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This position maintains all parts stock within the dealership by:

• Receiving and checking all incoming shipments.
• Check for accuracy of shipment (ensure bill of lading matches product unloaded).
• Quality of parts; noting damage and shortages.
• Put away daily stock orders and customer orders.
• Perform cycle counts daily to ensure accuracy of stock.
• Create labels and/or bins for new parts in warehouse.
• Collect and organize cores and warranties and perform return of cores and warranties to appropriate vendors.
• Facilitate yearly inventory in conjunction with parts manager.
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent required with basic knowledge of truck/auto components.

• Excellent communication skills and must speak English.
• High school business math.
• Knowledge of and ability to work on a computer.
• General mechanical aptitude.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job. Specifically:

• Must be able to walk, stand, kneel, crouch, reach and lift.
• Must be able to carry 10 to 50 pounds 70% of the work time; 51 to 90 pounds 20% of the work time; and 100 plus pounds 10% of the work time.
• Will need to operate forklifts and lift trucks safely to load and unload trucks, store parts and load customers and delivery vehicles.
