Exciting Opportunity: HVAC Technician Wanted to Spearhead New Department

LeBrun Electric, Heating & Cooling a trusted name in the Twin Cities since 1994. We are seeking a highly skilled and HVAC Installer to join us and help kickstart this exciting new chapter

Position: Lead HVAC Installer

HVAC Installer - Responsibilities

• Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial buildings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Inspect HVAC systems for proper operation and compliance with local codes
• Connect systems to fuel and water supply lines, air ducts, and other components
• Perform tests to ensure all components are functioning correctly (pressure tests, air flow, etc.)
• Provide routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services when needed
• Document work completed, maintain job records, and report issues to supervisors
• Communicate with customers about system operations, warranties, and maintenance tips
• Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols on job sites
• Collaborate with team members, contractors, and project managers to ensure timely installations

HVAC Installer - Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; HVAC technical school certificate or associate degree preferred
• Valid HVAC license and EPA certification (Type I, II, or Universal)
• Proven experience installing HVAC systems (1-3 years minimum preferred)
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical components, and plumbing connections
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams
• Skilled in using tools such as pipe cutters, leak detectors, gauges, drills, etc.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and handle outdoor conditions
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a professional demeanor with clients
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
