Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their ordering process in a quick, friendly manner
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately
• Handle cash, credit, and digital payments efficiently while maintaining proper cash handling procedures
• Ensure all food items are prepared and served in accordance with sanitation and food safety standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage food preparation tasks as needed, including basic assembly or packaging of orders
• Maintain cleanliness of the cashier station, dining area, and surrounding spaces by bussing tables and cleaning as required
• Follow proper food handling protocols to ensure safety and hygiene at all times
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying supervisors of shortages
• Support team members during busy hours by providing excellent customer service and efficient order processing

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Knowledge of food industry standards related to sanitation, food handling, and safety is advantageous
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple transactions efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate change giving
• Excellent customer service abilities with a positive attitude and clear communication skills
• Experience in cashiering, serving, or retail environments will support success in this role
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
