House Cleaner

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness across various facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and experience in cleaning and custodial services. Prior experience in hospitality, janitorial, or industrial cleaning is highly valued. The Housekeeper will play a vital role in upholding the high standards of cleanliness and comfort that our organization prides itself on.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing to ensure floors are clean and safe.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff.
• Follow established protocols for sanitation and safety to meet health regulations.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to all safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment use.
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as required within the facility.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is used properly and maintained regularly for optimal performance.

Experience

• Prior experience in cleaning or custodial roles is preferred, including hotel housekeeping, janitorial services, industrial cleaning, or hospitality environments.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques such as stripping, sealing, waxing, and buffing is advantageous.
• Experience with hotel housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team.
