Job Summary:

We are seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead and support our technical maintenance team. This role is key to ensuring equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance during second shift operations. You'll develop technician skills, promote safety, and help drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities during the 2nd shift.
• Ensure completion of preventive maintenance and timely repairs of machinery.
• Support technicians with troubleshooting and hands-on assistance as needed.
• Maintain compliance with GMP, OSHA, LOTO, and other safety and regulatory protocols.
• Monitor equipment performance and keep accurate records of work performed.
• Lead and participate in root cause analysis to reduce recurring issues.
• Support team development and performance feedback in collaboration with the Maintenance Manager and HR.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing (food industry preferred).
• Experience leading or supervising a maintenance team strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems, fabrication, PLCs, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read schematics and interpret technical manuals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CMMS experience a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Stand and walk on concrete for extended periods.
• Work and communicate in an environment with moving mechanical parts and loud noise requiring hearing protection
• Able to balance while ascending/descending ladders and scaffolding using safety procedures
• Able to twist, bend, lay, kneel, reach, and crouch at elevated and ground levels
• Vision abilities include: close, distant, and color vision
• Able to adjust to changing demands and environments quickly Employee will be exposed to variable air temperatures, wet and/or humid conditions, high locations, vibration, chemicals

Shift: 2nd Shift
Work Location: In-person at our Haverhill, MA facility

Pay: $100, $120,000.00 per year
