Housekeeper

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team for our Memory Care Unit. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests or residents. Your attention to detail and commitment to high standards will ensure a positive experience for everyone.

Hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, and Holidays as assigned

Key Responsibilities:

- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, and private spaces according to established standards

- Make beds, change linens, and replenish supplies as needed

- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness

- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly

- Follow safety and sanitation policies to ensure a healthy environment

- Assist with laundry and linen management

- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored properly

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a housekeeper or in a similar role preferred

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and efficiently

- Good communication skills and a positive attitude

- Physical stamina and ability to perform cleaning tasks

- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies safety procedures

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

Qualifications

1 Must be at least 18 years of age and/or completed high school, or obtained the equivalent of a high school education, or otherwise shows ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions

2 Must provide valid Pennsylvania Driver's License

3 Must speak and understand English

4 Must possess an agreeable and positive attitude toward the residents, families and coworkers

Housekeeping Functions - Physical & Sensory Req

1 Has the ability to sit, walk, reach, bend, lift, and has fine hand coordination.

2 Has the ability to pull, push, and distinguish smells and temperatures.

3 Has the ability to read and write English.

4 Has the ability to communicate with staff and residents.

5 Has the ability to remain calm under stress.
