Overview
The
Lead Technical Analyst-Workday
serves as a senior-level technical lead for our HCM solutions. In this role you will explore and leverage solution capabilities to improve business processes, deliver new features and optimize available functionality and usability to enhance overall user experience in support of business initiatives. Responsible for technical support including security administration, tenant and release management. This role partners with functional analysts ensuring data integrity, testing system enhancements, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Release Management/Implementation: Support organizational HCM strategy by managing system enhancements, coordinating upgrades and leading adoption initiatives. Lead and support new feature implementation. Maintain all cross platform documentation.
  • Tenant Management: Oversee and coordinate the lifecycle and configuration of Workday tenants to ensure a secure and efficient environment for testing, development and production. Track and document tenant usage, history and change logs. Serve as liaison for environment-related matters.
  • Security: Ensure data integrity, compliance and secure access by upholding security best practices by maintaining user access, roles and security configurations.
  • Team Support: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. Serve as the go-to resource for troubleshooting complex issues, helping ensure successful project delivery and skill development across the team. Model best practices and standard guidelines.
  • Individual Development: Maintain awareness of current trends in HCMS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or another related field
  • Eight (8) or more years of relevant experience, including:

  • HCM system support and configuration experience (Workday required)

  • Comprehensive experience with security configuration and administration

  • Strong knowledge of HR and payroll functions and processes, and knowledge of data integrity, confidentiality and compliance requirements

  • Ability to maintain confidential data
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships with peers, and, synthesize difficult concepts for communicating with non-technical users
  • Demonstrated experience working with or supporting core human resource business processes (performance management, employee on- onboarding, compensation planning, promotions, rehires, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with demonstrated experience effectively reporting data in an understandable way for a variety of audiences ranging from technical to senior leadership
  • Ability to troubleshoot and provide support
  • Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to interface with all levels within the organization
  • Flexible and able to adapt to a dynamic environment
  • Positive, self-motivated individual who can work effectively in a self-directed team-based environment
  • Demonstrates a consultative approach to problem-solving and gathering feedback to determine continuous improvements
  • Workday Pro certification is highly desirable

We are pleased to announce that the base salary range for this position is $90,292.80-$120,390.40, in line with the national average for the role. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, targeted at 3%. NFI considers applicants' qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location when determining a starting rate of pay.
