We are helping business owners automate tasks that people do not want to do anymore Our autonomous robotics solutions for cleaning, delivery, customer engagement, and operational support are delivering unprecedented ROI to businesses across multiple industries.

We are expanding and seeking 3-4 part-time Business Development Representatives (BDRs) with experience and connections in one or more of these industries:

  • Assisted Living & Senior Care
  • Auto Dealerships
  • Hospitals
  • Restaurants
  • Hotels & Casinos
  • Education – K-12 Schools, Community Colleges and Universities
  • Entertainment and Sports Facilities
  • Property Management (Large Office Buildings, Indoor Shopping Malls, etc).
  • Manufacturing / Warehousing
  • Janitorial/Custodial Services

Position Summary

Each BDR will prospect robotics relevant businesses, identify opportunities using our structured lead qualification process, and schedule demo appointments for our sales team.

You are not responsible for closing deals — your role is to start conversations, identify and connect with the right decision-makers, and book high-quality demos for qualified leads.

This is a part-time, flexible role ideal for individuals desiring supplemental income, with background in one or more of the above industries.

Compensation

This is a commission-based role with strong earning potential:

  • $100 for every qualified demo appointment you schedule and the targeted client persona attends. This is far above industry norms
  • 5% of gross margin for deals that close from your leads.
  • Total payout could be between $1400-$2900 per month for 8-12 hours of work/week
  • Multi-robot contracts may yield even higher commissions

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect potential clients through phone outreach and in-person visits
  • Use our structured lead qualification process
  • Document lead quality and schedule demos for the sales team
  • Build rapport with decision-makers across your assigned industry segment
  • Represent RobotLAB Detroit professionally and clearly articulate our value

Target Personas (Decision Makers by Business Segment)

BDRs will identify and contact the correct stakeholders in each vertical. BDRs should have experience and comfortable working with one or more of the following personas in each of their target industries:

Assisted Living

  • Executive Director
  • Administrator
  • Director of Nursing
  • Life Enrichment Director / Activities Director
  • Housekeeping or Facilities Manager

Restaurants

  • General Manager
  • Owner

Hotels

  • General Manager
  • Assistant GM
  • Director of Housekeeping
  • Director of Operations
  • Facilities Manager

Hospitals

  • Director of Environmental Services (EVS)
  • COO / Operations Director
  • Facilities Director
  • Infection Control Manager

Auto Dealerships

  • Service Manager
  • Fixed Operations Director
  • Parts Manager
  • General Manager / Owner

K12 Schools

  • Superintendent
  • Director of Facilities
  • Director of Custodial Services

Community Colleges / Universities

  • Director of Facilities
  • Director of Campus Services
  • Housing Operations Director

Property Management and Shopping Malls

  • Director of Facilities Management

Qualifications

  • Experience in any customer-facing or outreach-oriented role

(hospitality, senior care, auto dealerships, restaurants, retail, education, maintenance, sales, community engagement, property management, manufacturing/warehousing, sports and entertainment)

  • Comfortable initiating conversations by phone and in person with the right personas
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Access to reliable transportation for local travel
