Job Summary
The Supply Technician III will operate a forklift and handheld device to load and unload trailers and place items in designated storage locations for future use and for building kitted pallets of ingredients. The Supply Technician III is also responsible for inventory management and maintaining a clean and organized packaging and ingredient warehouse and will perform and document safety, quality, regulatory, maintenance, and sanitation activities.
Essential Functions
Operate a forklift and handheld device to receive packaging and ingredients from incoming trailers in a manner that complies with all regulatory requirements, plant SOPs, and meets plant performance objectives. Operate a forklift and handheld device to pull and organize planned daily production inputs of both packaging and ingredient materials as need to support kitting, filling, and packaging needs in a manner that complies with regulatory requirements, plant SOPs, and meets plant performance objectives. Operate a forklift and handheld scanner to supply and replenish various workstations with packaging and ingredients materials as required. Build kitted pallets to be used in batching. Oversee packaging and ingredients warehouses to ensure all warehouses remain clean and organized. Perform inventory counts and update inventories of packaging and ingredient materials. Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of equipment, walls, floors, doors, ceilings, etc. as part of a Master Sanitation Program. Perform daily tasks as part of Plant Safety Program, Plant Quality Program, CIL Program (clean, inspect, lube), Autonomous Maintenance Program, Equipment Center-Lining Program, Defect Identification, and Preventative Maintenance Programs. Properly complete all documentation to meet all regulatory requirements and plant SOPs. Perform all other job duties as assigned. Ensure yours, your team members', and all visitors' safety by actively supporting and following all safety programs as part of a "Zero Accident" commitment. Ensure full compliance to all regulatory, customer and plant quality requirements as part of a "Perfect Quality" commitment. "Make it Better". Maintain plant areas of responsibility to ensure an inspection ready/tour ready area at all times. Actively contribute during Daily Shift/Direction Setting Meetings. Complete and document CILs (Clean, Inspect, Lube), master sanitation tasks, quality checks, PMs (preventative maintenance tasks), and perform required maintenance on your equipment. Understand sources of waste and actively strive for "Zero Waste". Support and enforce SQF / QA, GMP, Safety policies and procedures, and production needs. Possess a current stand-up forklift operator's license or the ability to acquire and maintain required certification. Possess a current sit-down forklift operator's license or ability to acquire and maintain certification preferred. Driving Requirements: N/A
Equipment
Personal protective equipment including, but not limited to hearing protection, bump caps, hair and beard nets, gloves, and safety glasses must be used in the performance of duties. Proper lifting techniques must be employed at all times.
