Duties

• Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all work areas are organized and hygienic
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping or ingredient handling under supervision
• Support catering and banquet setups by providing clean dishware and assisting with service needs
• Help with general kitchen cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, and sanitizing surfaces to meet health standards
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean items for food service
• Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations
• Assist in bussing tables during busy service periods to support smooth restaurant operations

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
• Familiarity with basic food handling practices and cleanliness standards in hospitality settings
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently
• Strong attention to detail when cleaning and organizing work areas
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Previous experience in banquet or catering environments is a plus but not mandatory
• Knowledge of food preparation or culinary experience can enhance your effectiveness in the role
