Maintenance Technician Level 2
Location: Ball Ground, GA

Pay Rate: Starting at $31.00/hour (with increases based on experience and skills after probationary period)

• Shift Differentials: Additional pay for 2nd shift
• Incentive Program: Bonuses available based on production goals

• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Job Summary

As a Maintenance Technician Level 2, you will play a key role in keeping our extrusion and downstream equipment running smoothly. This position combines electrical and mechanical troubleshooting with preventive maintenance. You will diagnose component-level issues, restore functionality, and reduce downtime while ensuring safety and reliability on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical systems (sensors, relays, motors, gearboxes).
• Use HMIs to interpret machine alarms and resolve faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, control panels, and extrusion line equipment.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and mechanical prints.
• Use test equipment such as multimeters and alignment tools.
• Complete maintenance documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow all safety, lockout/tagout, and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and mechanical alignment skills.
• Familiarity with HMIs, basic PLC concepts, and control signals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments.
