Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Decision Support Analyst Senior to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Decision Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data and analytics to guide strategic decisions, improve operational efficiency, and enhance patient care outcomes. What You Will Do
- Collect, analyze, and interpret healthcare data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management and clinical teams.
- Develop and maintain complex reports, dashboards, and scorecards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to hospital operations, financial performance, and patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement in patient care, cost reduction, and revenue enhancement.
- Assist in the development of data-driven strategies and provide decision support for projects and initiatives.
- Build and maintain predictive models to forecast patient volumes, resource utilization, and financial performance.
- Conduct scenario analyses to assess the impact of various decisions on the hospital's operations and financial stability.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- Implement data governance practices and contribute to data quality improvement initiatives.
- Utilize advanced analytics tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau) to extract, transform, and visualize data.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in healthcare analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, clinical, and administrative staff, to develop and implement data-driven solutions.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts as needed.
- Prepare clear and concise documentation of analysis methodologies, findings, and recommendations.
- Present insights and reports to senior leadership and department heads in a manner that is easy to understand.
What You Will Need
- Education: Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
- Certification: n/a
- Experience: 5+ years' Experience in healthcare data analysis and decision support, preferably in a hospital setting. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus.
