Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and fellow servers. This role is essential in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and assist guests with recommendations to enhance their dining experience through upselling techniques.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Process payments accurately, handling cash transactions with care.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and adherence to food safety standards.
• Adhere to all sanitation guidelines and restaurant policies regarding food handling and preparation.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a server role within the food service or hospitality industry is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately; cash handling experience is required.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
• Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory.
