Responsibilities

• Lead and support the serving team to deliver top-tier guest service with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Oversee food and beverage service, ensuring accuracy, presentation, and timely delivery using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Assist with training staff on food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols to maintain compliance with health regulations
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements using platforms like OpenTable to optimize guest flow and satisfaction
• Upsell menu items effectively to enhance revenue while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
• Handle cashing out guests, processing payments accurately, and managing cash handling procedures
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations during busy service periods

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant roles, including serving, bussing, or host/host positions
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Demonstrated culinary experience or familiarity with food preparation and food industry standards
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive guest experience
• Experience working in fine dining or nightclub settings preferred but not required
• Basic math skills for cashiering, food costing, and transaction accuracy; understanding of sanitation practices is essential
