Job Summary:
The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner. This role ensures guests enjoy a safe, enjoyable, and memorable bar experience by following recipes, maintaining cleanliness, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests promptly and courteously at the bar or service area.
Mix, garnish, and serve drinks accurately and efficiently according to recipes or guest preferences.
Maintain full knowledge of the bar menu, drink specials, wine lists, and featured cocktails.
Engage with guests, answer questions, and make drink and food recommendations.
Check guest identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
Handle cash, credit cards, and POS transactions accurately.
Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked with liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies.
Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow all responsible alcohol service guidelines.
Restock bar inventory and notify management of low stock or supply needs.
Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar before and after service.
Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service.
Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations and company policies. Qualifications
