We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our innovative team. Duties
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations tailored to client needs, highlighting features related to computer networking, cloud services, virtualization, and security solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales team during pre-sales activities to develop customized solutions that meet client requirements.
- Provide technical guidance throughout the sales cycle, including proposal development, proof of concept execution, and solution architecture design.
- Assist clients in understanding complex technical concepts related to AWS, Azure, VMware, Linux, and other platforms through clear explanations and live demos.
- Support project management efforts by coordinating technical resources and ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
- Analyze client infrastructure and requirements to recommend optimal configurations leveraging analysis skills and technical expertise.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to effectively position our products in the marketplace.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical sales or pre-sales roles within IT or networking industries.
- Strong understanding of computer networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, etc.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure; familiarity with virtualization tools like VMware is essential.
- Proficiency in scripting languages including Python and Bash (Unix shell) for automation tasks.
- Solid knowledge of Linux operating systems and enterprise server environments.
- Excellent analysis skills to assess client needs and craft tailored technical solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver compelling product demos that showcase technical features effectively.
- Project management skills to coordinate multiple stakeholders and ensure smooth solution deployment.
