EGGBRED is a fast-casual breakfast concept focused on quality, speed, and exceptional guest experiences. We are expanding rapidly and seek a strong, results-driven General Manager to lead our Fruit Cove location. This role is for a hands-on operator and inspiring leader who can drive operational excellence, grow the team, and deliver measurable results.

Position Summary

The EGGBRED General Manager leads by example, creating a positive, high-performing environment for employees and guests. This role is accountable for operational success, financial performance, and team development while maintaining brand standards and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The GM consistently inspires the team, invests in future leaders, and ensures all aspects of the restaurant operate efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a brand ambassador, reinforcing EGGBRED culture and standards.
  • Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellent guest service and product quality.
  • Hire, train, develop, and retain a high-performing team, including coaching Assistant Managers.
  • Create schedules that maximize labor efficiency and support business trends.
  • Develop and implement marketing, promotional campaigns, and operational initiatives in line with brand strategy.
  • Monitor sales, costs, inventory, and labor; prepare and review operational and financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and labor regulations.
  • Manage cash handling, deposits, and reconciliation procedures.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities in excellent working condition, including preventative maintenance oversight.
  • Handle guest feedback decisively, ensuring a consistent, exceptional experience.
  • Conduct employee evaluations, administer corrective actions when needed, and foster a culture of accountability.
  • Fill operational roles as needed to maintain standards, demonstrating a hands-on leadership style.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate repairs to keep operations seamless.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in fast-casual or QSR environments.
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in back-office software and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • ServSafe certified or ability to obtain promptly.
  • Availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and operate in all areas of the restaurant for the duration of shifts.
