Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that each guest has a memorable dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Experience in fine dining or the food industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Touch Bistro or Micros POS systems.
• Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of tables, dining area, and service stations by bussing tables and adhering to sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns efficiently.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, demonstrating culinary knowledge when appropriate.
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries or complaints with professionalism and courtesy.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is highly desirable; fine dining experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with TouchBistro POS, Aloha POS, Micros POS, OpenTable, or similar systems is preferred.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately; cashiering experience is beneficial.
• Knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated during shifts.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $2.13 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
