Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate, creative, and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position. We plan to open a new office in Denver, NC in 2026 and need to find the perfect therapist to head the speech pathology team The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about working with children and families, embraces a play-based approach to therapy, and is committed to helping children reach their full communication potential.

Responsibilities
- Help grow our new practice in Denver, N.C.
- Community outreach
- Provide individualized speech-language therapy services to pediatric clients
- Conduct evaluations and develop client-centered treatment plans
- Collaborate with families to support generalization and progress
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and collaborative discussions
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques to improve communication abilities.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current North Carolina SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but CFs are welcome to apply
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for play-based, child-centered therapy
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to speech therapy and patient care.
- Proficiency in anatomy knowledge relevant to speech production and communication processes.
- Understanding of physiology as it pertains to speech-language pathology practices.
- Experience in early intervention strategies for young children with communication disorders.
- Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments to inform treatment decisions.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with families, educators, and healthcare teams.
- A compassionate approach towards working with children and their families in various settings.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $ $80.00 per hour
