We are seeking a skilled and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our hospital-based therapy team. The OTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions that promote functional independence and improved quality of life for patients in acute and inpatient settings.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
  • Assist patients with therapeutic activities to improve mobility, self-care, and functional performance.
  • Provide patient and family education to support safe discharge and continued progress.
  • Document treatments, patient progress, and responses in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with OTs, PTs, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Contribute to team meetings, discharge planning, and program development initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program.
  • Current State OTA License (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and patient engagement skills.
