Job Description: Bartender/Barista

As a Bartender/Barista, you will prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks, cocktails, and other beverages while providing outstanding customer service in a dynamic environment. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee, specialty drinks, cocktails, beer, and wine to guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Greet guests warmly, engage in friendly conversation, and make menu recommendations.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar and café area.
• Follow all recipes and presentation specifications.
• Check guests' identification to ensure they meet the minimum age requirements for alcohol service.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately; process orders through POS systems.
• Monitor guest behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service.
• Replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down bar and café areas.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards and hotel policies.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a bartender or barista in a hospitality or customer service setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Proficiency in operating bar equipment and coffee machines is a plus.
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of drink recipes, coffee preparation methods, and responsible alcohol service practices is a plus.
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
• Certification in responsible alcohol service (such as TIPS or similar) preferred but not required.
