About Us:
Pyramid Construction Services is looking for a Carpenterto join the team in Wormleysburg, PA. A carpenter is defined as a craftsman with an extensive skill and experience level with the ability to perform all work required. They will be expected to work independently or as a lead directly with the jobsite superintendent or project foreman depending on project requirements.

What You Will Do:
- Adhere to the company safety program.
- Report to work on-time everyday ready to perform daily tasks or reports off to your direct supervisor.
- Performs work of a quality level consistent with Pyramid's reputation.
- Proficient in blueprint reading.
- Mathematical skills and analytical skills necessary to take and compute measurements.
- Complete miscellaneous jobs according to instructions given.
What You Bring:
- High School diploma or comparable experience.
- Minimum five (5) years in commercial construction or two (2) years experience and vocational education certification.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial/residential construction practices, procedures, techniques, tools, equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, safety and applicable building codes.
- Ability to perform the following:
- Layout
- Framing
- Concrete formwork/placement/finishing
- Installation of doors/frames/hardware
- Rough blocking
- Install specialties
- Install casework
- Install trim
- Must be able to operate company portable equipment for jobsite requirements.
- Have a valid drivers license.
- Ability to work in a professional manner acceptable to our clients, design professionals and fellow employees while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed. While performing the essential functions of this position, must regularly see, speak, and hear; frequently stand; walk; occasionally kneel and stoop; use hands to manipulate, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.
Ability to perform tasks such as but not limited to climbing ladders, erecting scaffolding, operating aerial lifts and operating company owned vehicles.
