Position Summary
The Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing all front desk operations to ensure exceptional guest service, efficient operations, and adherence to Hilton brand standards. This role leads the front office team, manages daily guest service activities, and collaborates with other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.
Guest Experience
- Ensure outstanding guest service and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Uphold Hilton brand standards and service culture at all times
- Monitor guest feedback (including surveys and online reviews) and implement improvement strategies
Front Office Operations
- Oversee daily front desk operations, including check-in/check-out, reservations, and cash handling
- Ensure accuracy of room assignments, billing, and folio balances
- Manage room inventory in coordination with housekeeping and revenue management
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and emergency procedures
Leadership & Team Management
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise front office team members
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
- Ensure proper staffing levels to meet business demands
Financial & Administrative Duties
- Monitor labor costs and control departmental expenses
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for the front office department
- Ensure compliance with cash handling, audit procedures, and internal controls
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Sales, and Food & Beverage teams
- Communicate effectively with management regarding operational needs and guest trends
- Support hotel-wide initiatives and special projects as assigned
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum of 2–3 years of front office or hotel management experience
- Strong leadership and guest service skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency with hotel property management systems Hilton PEP
Preferred
- Prior experience with Hilton brand
- Knowledge of revenue management and front office financial controls
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment

Pay: $50, $55,000.00 per year
