Our cutting-edge distribution center in Orlando, Florida is seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to maintain our operational efficiency and safety standards. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the smooth functioning of our logistics operations. This includes performing routine maintenance on warehouse equipment, troubleshooting minor mechanical issues, assisting with inventory management, and ensuring that all safety protocols are strictly followed. Your role is critical in minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. We are looking for individuals with a strong understanding of warehouse machinery and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience with basic mechanical repairs and a commitment to preventative maintenance are highly valued. Safety is our top priority, and you will be expected to consistently use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to all safety regulations. This position may involve lifting of items up to 50 lbs and requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment (e.g., conveyors, forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on warehouse machinery.
- Assist in keeping inventory records accurate.
- Ensure the warehouse environment is clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Properly utilize and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Respond to and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure operational continuity.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of workstations.
- Operate various warehouse equipment as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse operations.
- Maintain a high level of vigilance regarding safety hazards.
