Join our dynamic logistics team as a Distribution Center Associate in Phoenix, Arizona! We are looking for motivated individuals to play a key role in our warehouse operations. You will be involved in various essential tasks, including receiving goods, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch. This position is critical to ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of products through our distribution center. The role demands physical stamina, as it involves significant amounts of standing, walking, and frequent lifting. Safety is our highest priority, and all team members are required to use appropriate PPE and adhere to all safety protocols. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against documentation.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation.
- Accurately pick items from inventory for customer orders using scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders with care and efficiency, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Prepare finished orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely (training provided for qualified candidates).
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all logistics standards.
- Strictly follow all company safety policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move for the duration of the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
