Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists or RF scanner instructions.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing station or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Report any damaged or missing items to supervisors.
- Meet established picking quotas and productivity standards.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse setting is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for the entire shift.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.
- Strong sense of teamwork and reliability.
- Must wear appropriate PPE provided by the company.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
