Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability, utilizing WMS.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, providing guidance and support.
- Ensure all warehouse operations are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Monitor and manage the workflow to meet operational goals and deadlines.
- Coordinate with transportation providers for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities, including inventory movements and staff performance.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols, ensuring proper use of PPE.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a supervisory role within logistics.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and supply chain principles.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and enforcing PPE usage.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with safety programs and procedures.
