Join our dynamic logistics team as an Order Picker in Grand Rapids, Michigan! We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to accurately and efficiently pick and pack customer orders. This is an excellent opportunity to become a vital part of our warehouse operations, contributing to the smooth flow of goods and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for locating products within the warehouse, verifying order accuracy, and preparing items for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Use hand-held scanners to track inventory and update order status.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring no damage during transit.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
