Exciting opportunity in the heart of New York City, New York for a skilled Material Handler! We are seeking a robust and safety-conscious individual to manage the movement and organization of materials within our bustling logistics facility. As a Material Handler, you will be instrumental in ensuring that raw materials, components, and finished goods are efficiently moved, stored, and accessed to support production and distribution. Your role is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of our supply chain. Responsibilities include: operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently, loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials to and from designated areas, performing regular equipment checks and basic maintenance, organizing materials in storage areas, and assisting with inventory counts. A strong emphasis is placed on safety; all employees must strictly adhere to safety protocols and utilize required PPE at all times. This position requires significant physical exertion, including frequent lifting of up to 60 pounds, bending, and maneuvering in a dynamic warehouse environment.
