Solutions Engineer – tldraw Join to apply for the
Solutions Engineer
role at
tldraw .
London, England, United Kingdom
The Role We're now in our second year of selling the tldraw SDK and we’re growing fast. We’ve learned a great deal from our customers, including Observable, Autodesk, ClickUp, and Shopify. One theme is emerging: the need for technical guidance to accelerate tldraw implementation and reassure customers that they’re heading in the right direction. You will be the point that provides that reassurance.
Working as part of the GTM team and directly with a wide range of enterprise customers—from rapid‑growth startups to established businesses—you’ll ensure they begin their tldraw build in the best possible way. This will focus primarily on the pre‑sales side: explaining the nuances of tldraw’s code‑base, demoing, creating examples, and acting as the technical stakeholder. You’ll also cover the implementation phase after signature, spending your first months at tldraw creating repeatable implementation frameworks to help customers get from 0‑1. As an engineer, you will be closely connected to tldraw’s engineering and product teams, learning from them and ultimately exchanging ideas to continually improve both our service delivery and the product itself.
The Person You’ve been a software engineer for a number of years, most recently working directly with customers. You’re motivated by solving problems and helping others succeed with technology, while also aspiring to become a more strategic contributor in the future. The agile and often unresolved processes of a young business don’t daunt you—rather, they excite you, as your strong organization skills combine well with an appetite to get things done with minimal direction. You’re a team‑player, keen to learn from and support others in the team.
At the heart of your motivation is a simple desire to help developers build awesome things with great tools. You have a truly customer‑centric and developer‑centric approach to implementation and empathize with the challenges our users face, allowing you to proactively propose solutions or workarounds to unblock them. tldraw’s SDK can be used in an enormous variety of applications, which means no two integrations are the same. You thrive on digging into our tech, rapidly learning how it can fit—or not—the customer’s needs, and connecting the dots to make each integration a success.
