Create advanced 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings for new products.
Product testing & validation
Perform calculations (stress, deflection) and analyse test data to ensure safety and performance.
Liaise with production, sub contractors and clients throughout all stages of the cycle
Maintain accurate technical documentation, (BOMs) and revision control.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday
Candidate: You will be a competent mechanical design engineer preferably qq with experience in design of sheet metal fabrications, industrial ovens, spray paint technology, HVAC and or LEV plant. Applicants will have at least 3 years design engineer experience and will have a recognised qualification in design engineering e.g. HNC, HND, Degree. You will be fully conversant with 3D CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, or Inventor).
