Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments accurately.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse areas, optimizing space.
- Pick, pack, and stage customer orders with precision and speed.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring all items are correctly labeled and secured.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (if certified) and pallet jacks.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in cycle counting procedures.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment, free from hazards.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations through effective task completion.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is highly desirable.
- Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Solid understanding of warehouse management systems and logistics principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to protocols.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work different shifts and occasional overtime as business needs dictate.
