We are seeking detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and carefully packing them for shipment. Your efficiency and accuracy are vital to our customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, using appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Perform lifting of products up to 30 lbs.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking and packing experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform occasional lifting.
- Understanding of warehouse safety and the importance of PPE.
