Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Houston, Texas. This role is crucial for the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. The Material Handler will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials and products according to established procedures. You will operate various types of equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required or provided), to transport materials safely and efficiently. A strong commitment to safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is essential. Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
  • Moving materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
  • Verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against invoices and purchase orders.
  • Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Maintaining an organized and clean work area.
  • Adhering to all safety guidelines and wearing required PPE.
  • Assisting with inventory counts and stock rotation.
  • Performing general warehouse duties as assigned.
  • Contributing to a safe and efficient logistics operation.
  • Proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
