We are hiring Picker/Packers for our busy Los Angeles, California location! This critical role involves accurately selecting items to fulfill customer orders and carefully packing them for safe transit. If you are detail-oriented, efficient, and enjoy working in a dynamic warehouse setting, this is the perfect opportunity for you. You'll utilize technology like RF scanners and our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure orders are processed correctly and on time. Safety is paramount in our operations; therefore, adherence to all safety protocols, including the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is required. This position demands physical stamina for standing, walking, reaching, and lifting throughout your shift. You will be an integral part of our logistics team, contributing directly to customer satisfaction by ensuring order accuracy and timely delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items based on order specifications using RF scanners.
- Pack merchandise securely and efficiently, ensuring product integrity.
- Verify order details for accuracy before packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and wear all required PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, including loading and unloading.
- Perform tasks involving frequent lifting of boxes and items.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Support overall logistics and shipping operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking/packing or warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Experience with WMS and RF scanners is a plus.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to adhering to safety regulations and wearing PPE.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
