We are seeking a diligent and efficient Picker/Packer to join our dynamic warehouse team in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This position is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their items correctly and on time. You will work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to strict quality and safety standards. Your primary duties will include retrieving items from warehouse shelves, verifying product accuracy against order lists, and meticulously packing items to prevent damage during transit. This involves selecting appropriate packaging materials, ensuring items are secured, and labeling packages accurately. A strong attention to detail is paramount. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, assisting with inventory counts, and operating basic warehouse equipment. Adherence to all safety protocols and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This role requires consistent physical activity, including standing, walking, and Lifting of items up to 50 pounds. - Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Verify item quantities and product codes.
- Package items securely for shipment.
- Label packages correctly for distribution.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Operate pallet jacks and other light warehouse equipment.
- Follow all company and OSHA Safety regulations.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Meet or exceed performance expectations for picking and packing accuracy and speed.
