Are you a skilled Forklift Operator? We have an exciting opportunity for you in St. Louis, Missouri. We are seeking experienced individuals to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is vital to our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods within the facility. You will be responsible for safely and accurately handling a variety of materials, contributing to the overall success of our Logistics department. A strong commitment to Safety and adherence to all operational procedures are paramount. You will work as part of a dedicated team, supporting all warehouse functions as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials.
- Move materials from receiving to storage or staging areas.
- Stack and unstack pallets and materials.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts.
- Ensure the safe operation of equipment and adherence to Safety guidelines.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Follow all instructions regarding the use of PPE.
- Support the Logistics team in various warehouse tasks.
This position requires candidates with proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting. The ability to perform significant Lifting is necessary, often involving heavy loads. A thorough understanding of Logistics processes and warehouse Safety regulations is essential. We provide comprehensive training and all required PPE.
