We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our operations in Durham, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse management, team leadership, and ensuring operational efficiency. You will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics principles and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. You will manage a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure targets are met and exceeded.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure efficient and accurate processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Train new employees on warehouse operations, safety guidelines, and equipment usage.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
- Monitor productivity and provide reports to management.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
The successful candidate will be proficient in warehouse management systems and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Experience with inventory control and a strong understanding of Logistics best practices are essential. Candidates must be comfortable with Lifting up to 50 lbs. and demonstrating a commitment to Safety in all aspects of their work.
