We are looking for enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our distribution center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This position is fundamental to fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from inventory and preparing them for shipment, ensuring that orders are complete and correctly packaged. If you are detail-oriented, energetic, and thrive in a fast-paced logistics setting, this is the role for you. Your dedication will ensure our customers receive their orders promptly and in perfect condition.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using order lists or scanning equipment.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package products securely and efficiently for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to general warehouse cleanliness.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Meet daily picking and packing quotas and quality standards.
- Follow all instructions for handling and processing orders within the logistics flow.
Requirements:
This role requires physical stamina, including frequent Lifting of items up to 35 pounds. Prior experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment role is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to Safety are crucial. You must be able to work efficiently in a dynamic environment and follow instructions precisely.
