We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring efficient movement and storage of goods. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing inventory. Your efforts will directly contribute to the smooth functioning of our warehouse and the satisfaction of our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store inventory accurately.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment with precision.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, fostering a team-oriented approach.
- Ensure all goods are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics operation.
Requirements:
Candidates must be able to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds. Previous warehouse experience is a plus. A strong understanding of warehouse procedures and a commitment to Safety are essential. You will be expected to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions diligently. A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively are highly valued. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within the logistics industry.
