Our Chicago, Illinois location is looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely shipment of goods to our customers. Your duties will include preparing shipping labels, packing orders, verifying shipment contents, and coordinating with carriers for pickup and delivery. You will maintain accurate shipping records and assist in resolving any shipping-related issues that may arise. A thorough understanding of shipping procedures and documentation is essential. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. We place a high emphasis on workplace safety, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is non-negotiable. While not a heavy lifting role, some physical dexterity is required. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in shipping or a similar clerical role within a warehouse or logistics setting.
