Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Richmond, Virginia. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of goods through our distribution center. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and opportunities for growth within our company.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory accurately.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently (certification may be required for some roles).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in logistics operations.
  • Perform other warehouse-related tasks as assigned by management.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of all materials to prevent damage or loss.

Qualifications:
  • Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring physical stamina, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with basic warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime, based on operational needs.
  • Understanding of general logistics principles is a plus.
