We are looking for a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our facility in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, encompassing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth movement and storage of goods. You will be involved in receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment. This position requires physical stamina, including regular lifting and the ability to operate warehouse equipment. We value safety above all and provide comprehensive training on PPE and safe lifting procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick orders accurately based on pick lists or system commands.
- Pack items securely for safe transit.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and staging.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Support logistics team with various warehouse tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to guidelines.
