We are looking for a motivated Material Handler to join our team in Denver, Colorado. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the movement of materials within the warehouse, ensuring smooth operational flow. Your duties will include receiving, stocking, picking, and preparing materials for shipment. This is a hands-on position that requires physical stamina and a commitment to safety. You will be working in a fast-paced distribution environment where efficiency and accuracy are key. Understanding of warehouse layouts and inventory management principles is beneficial. We prioritize a safe working environment, and all employees must strictly follow safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Stock materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Use hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts to move materials.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, adhering to housekeeping standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of PPE.
- Report any damaged materials or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 60 lbs) and other physical tasks.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with basic inventory management.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic reading and counting skills.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE.
- Availability to work required shifts, including potential overtime.
