We are currently seeking a Level 2 IT Support Technician to provide on‑site technical support to one of our key clients in Edinburgh. This part‑time, on‑site role is ideal for professionals with a strong service mindset and solid experience supporting modern, enterprise IT environments within regulated industries.
⚠️ Important: This position is open only to candidates based in Edinburgh or individuals who already hold a valid UK work permit. Visa sponsorship is not offered.
Responsibilities
Provide second‑level on‑site technical support to internal users.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across Windows environments and Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365.
Support and administer tools such as ServiceNow, Active Directory, and cloud‑based backup solutions.
Act as a client‑facing IT resource, maintaining clear and professional communication with end users and IT stakeholders.
Document incidents, requests, and actions accurately within the ticketing system.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in Level 2 IT support or similar roles (MSP experience is a strong plus).
Solid technical knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and enterprise IT environments.
Strong problem‑solving skills and customer‑oriented mindset.
Experience supporting Financial Services clients is preferred.
Spanish language skills are a plus.
