Machine Learning Engineer (LLMs) Fully Remote | Up to £100,000 (DOE) We're working with a well-funded, early-stage tech company operating at the intersection of behavioural science and applied AI. They're building intelligent, real-world AI products and are now looking for a Machine Learning Engineer with strong LLM experience to join their growing team. This is a hands-on role where you'll have real ownership, influence technical direction, and work closely with product and engineering teams. What you'll be doing Designing, building and deploying LLM-powered systems end to end Developing and optimising RAG pipelines, prompt strategies and workflows Working with GCP services, particularly Vertex AI Writing clean, scalable production code in Python Collaborating cross-functionally and clearly communicating technical ideas What we're looking for Strong experience with LLMs (this is a must) Solid Python engineering background Hands-on experience with GCP (Vertex AI) Experience building real-world ML / GenAI systems (not just experimentation) Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously in a remote setup Nice to have Experience with RAG frameworks, vector databases, or orchestration tools Startup or early-stage environment experience The details Fully remote Salary up to £100,000, depending on experience High-impact role with plenty of autonomy No visa sponsorship available If you're excited about LLMs, want your ideas to be heard, and enjoy building meaningful AI products, this is a great opportunity to make a real impact
