Box Truck Driver, will collect various liquid and solid hazardous wastes from various customer sites. Will be required to load and unload trucks. They will have the ability to operate a variety of truck and equipment including box trucks, tractor trailer and any other equipment that fits their license. You will be required to complete all necessary paperwork and government documents. Speaking with the customers and verifying they are satisfied with our service. Keeping in close contact with your supervisor/dispatcher is required on a daily basis. You will generally work without direct supervision but will always be part of a team that works together to make sure all customers are serviced in a professional and timely manner. Understand that your driving hours will be subject to government regulation.Key Responsibilities
  • Support plant operations while working a rotating shift schedule.

  • Operate a variety of vehicles and equipment, including

  • box trucks, van trailers, and roll-off units.

  • Perform power washing and high-pressure water blasting as required.

  • Operate additional equipment such as pickup trucks, utility trailers, forklifts, excavators, and skid steers (bobcats).

  • Safely load, transport, and unload hazardous and non-hazardous materials.

  • Maintain cleanliness and proper care of all tools, vehicles, and equipment.

  • Complete all required transportation documentation, including pre- and post-trip inspections.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and legislation.

  • Complete assigned routes efficiently while maintaining safety standards.

  • Conduct end-of-day driver check-ins to ensure accurate completion of paperwork and job documentation.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

  • Availability to work shifts, including overtime as required.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

  • Proven strong work ethic and reliability.

  • Professional and composed demeanor in high-pressure situations.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
