We are seeking a meticulous and organized Shipping Clerk to join our warehouse team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is critical for ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately and efficiently, serving as a vital component of our Logistics operations. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for preparing shipment documentation, verifying outgoing orders against documentation, labeling packages, and coordinating with carriers for pickup. Your attention to detail is paramount to prevent errors and ensure timely delivery to our customers. You will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively. Maintaining an orderly shipping area and ensuring all shipments meet carrier requirements are key responsibilities. Adherence to all company Safety protocols and the proper use of PPE is mandatory to ensure a safe working environment for everyone. This role involves some physical activity, including the Lifting of packages up to 50 pounds, and requires periods of standing and walking. - Prepare accurate shipping labels and documentation for all outgoing orders.
- Verify outgoing orders against shipping manifests and customer orders.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Ensure packages are correctly labeled and meet carrier size and weight restrictions.
- Maintain organized shipping and receiving records.
- Operate shipping software and equipment, such as scanners and scales.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE , including safety glasses and gloves.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Perform manual Lifting of packages up to 50 pounds.
