Join our dynamic warehouse team in Chicago, Illinois, as a Warehouse Worker. This is a hands-on role critical to managing the flow of goods through our facility. We are looking for dependable individuals who understand the importance of efficiency and Safety in a logistics environment. You will be involved in various tasks, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and that customer orders are processed accurately and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick items accurately according to order fulfillment requirements.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company Safety protocols and guidelines meticulously.
- Wear appropriate PPE, including safety footwear and high-visibility vests.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Contribute to the overall success of our logistics operations through diligent work.
Requirements:
The position requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds. Previous experience in a warehouse setting is a plus. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and a dedication to Safety are essential. You should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions precisely.
