Become a Picker/Packer at our distribution center in Durham, North Carolina, and play a crucial role in delivering high-quality products to our customers. This position involves the meticulous picking of items based on order specifications and carefully packing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from various warehouse locations according to customer orders.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order sheets or scanning devices.
- Package products securely and appropriately for safe transit, selecting the right materials.
- Apply shipping labels and any necessary documentation to packages.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand scanners as part of the picking and packing process.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Participate in inventory checks and stock rotation activities.
- Meet established productivity targets for picking and packing.
- Follow all instructions related to order processing and logistics procedures.
Requirements:
The role demands physical activity, including frequent Lifting of items up to 35 pounds. Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial. A high level of accuracy and a strong commitment to Safety are required. You must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
